ROC to refurbish FT’s new home
ROC have been selected to bring their Electrical fit out services to the City of London.
ROC is set to start a £3.2 million Electrical CatA and CatB fit-out to the New Bracken House office building in the City of London which will become the new home of the Financial Times, almost 30 years after relocating to Southwark.
New Bracken House is situated next to St Paul’s Cathedral and work will include stripping out the building, with some portions of the floors on the wings removed to create open courtyards. External listed wings will be cleaned and refurbished and existing roof configured with a 150-metre running track for employees, encasing a glass skylight.
Cahal McNicholl, Operations Director said: “We look for forward to working with Skanska SRW on this landmark project and delivering a high quality modern office building."
Keep checking back for further updates on the New Bracken House case study in which ROC are due to complete by August 2018.
